I don't really think too highly of motion control, and even less so of Nintendo's ridiculous vitality sensor. 3D, however, once it gets mainstream, will be a huge improvement in the overall experience even if it doesn't improve gameplay. Even if the graphics stay the same but we move to 3D, it'll be a bigger jump than the jump from the 6th gen to the 7th gen. Like the move from 2D to 3D in graphics, I'd say.
Motion control brings nothing great to gameplay or the overall experience in my opinion. It's not exactly a great experience to swing your hands, and gameplay would benefit only in genres that benefit from having a mouse - and that's nothing new.
