Not 100% sure I get "it was with", but I think I understand. You mean the NES and Game & Watch were out at the same time, sort of in tandem.
You could say the same thing for pretty much ALL Nintendo consoles, though.

I agree with the OP. I've always been of the opinion that the wii is the NES reborn. NSMBWii is proof of that. I would definitely not be sad if the next system is called Super Wii :)
Yeah let's just hope they don't act stupid and don't go red ocean streditgy like the SNES
