I notice Cooking Mama didn't make the top 15...
The last Virtua Fighter sold 375,000 in one week, the last Cooking Mama sold 50,000 copies in it's entire life span and that released for the DS with a user base of some 15,000,000 people in japan, so why make this comparison in the first place?
Now the real battle will be stepped up by Nintendo with the upcoming releases of Super Paper Mario, Mario Party, and the new Naruto game, in which all their most recent releases have totaled in sales close to a half million. Of course there's also Fire Emblem which could sell in the 100,000+ range. And Sony has their Gundam game so it should be interesting, though I'd say Nintendo has the advantage.
