you have to also look at the fact the retailers have started their holiday sales Nov 1st so there were even deals at Walmart on Thanksgiving (yes they were open on thanksgiving)

 I won't be shocked if I have lowballed it a bit, but I am damn near positive you and several others are way above the actual numbers.  Sorry but not many people are going shopping on thanksgiving...certainly not enough to expect the increase for the week of black friday is going to be up like 900% year over year.
