PS3 HW - 245k and FFXIII - 1.5M

5) Even Famitsu predictions arse was kicked in only 3 days
6) Not going to talk about the user base factor because I think that most people in Japan buys a PS3 because of FF and FF XIII is also my reason for buying a PS3

No matter what you say, whatever comparison you would like to make, the game is a SUCCESS, a big SUCCESS

I agree with all this pretty much, but 3 clarifications...

1) We don't know exact preorder figures, for FFXIII or any of the previous series for comparison.

2) It was actually 4 days of sales (Thursday through Sunday).

3) Famitsu predictions are for shipments, and those were totally shattered on day one (1.8m).

 

...I do expect better 2n3/3rd week legs for FFXIII due to the holidays though.  At least versus FFX/XII.
