No, but most games are derived from other games, in structure at least, and GoW is derived from DMC in structure. Even the experience orbs are the same color....

Ok...sure GoW may be "derived from DMC in structure". But I dare say that Dante's Inferno is the result of Visceral games finding the PC build of God of War, modding it, and placing a new skin on the engine. THAT'S how much of a copy it is. You can rant on about how some games will always be similar to some other game that's in the genre....but Dante's Inferno isn't similar to GoW. It IS God of War....just a lesser version.

For example, I went to CVS the other day, and saw a plug and play game called Wireless Sports and Wireless Fit and right below it was a game called Guitar Superstar. Obviously exact clones of Wii Fit, Wii Sports, and Guitar Hero. There is no "they're similar to those games because they're in the same genre"...no, those are cheap clones, which is what Dante's is compared to GoW. If you played both, you'd know. I'll post pics of those games when I upload
