jarrod said: CGI, I'm not really interested in going through this exact same argument AGAIN. I guess you can claim I misunderstood you or whatever, but after the exact same thing happened not even 3 days agao, I would've hoped you'd be more thoughtful in your language. Frankly, to me it looks you'd rather attack the poster than the argument. I'll ask you to try to give this sort of behavior more consideration in the future, 3rd time's definitely not the charm.
As far as digital sales, until I see some evidence that they're a significant contributor in Japan, I don't see much point in even bringing up the subject. If they'd have greatly increased GT5P sales we'd have undoubtedly heard about it by now. From what we know, GT5P sales aren't exactly encouraging.... |
You misunderstood, that has been explained. And frankly, I'm not attacking you. I just don't understand your behavior towards many of the games you comment on. It's usually never positive. Can we drop it though, it's worn out and immobile at this point.
As for GT5:P, agree to disagree.

I guess I keep misunderstanding. I guess that's totally my problem. I guess I should just stop responding to you. I guess I will.
My final advice though, stop trying to "understand" motivation in a sales discussion. Argue the facts, leave the intangibles alone, they'll never get you anywhere and it generally comes off as bit desperate in the end.
|
My point for quoting you in the first place was not based on you posting a fact though. That is why I argued it, knida hard to argue with facts, no? Personally, it doesn't matter what your motivation is, but it will be questioned by one poster or another if what you're saying isn't supported by fact. This is the case in almost all cases.
I also wasn't the only one to argue that point with you. If I was, I could understand you thinking it was an attack. What you posted wasn't fact though, and was quite bold. That's how you sparked a 3-way argument.
|
Okay, last response. All I did was bring facts. And you'll notice, when other posters questioned them or my arguments I responded in kind, usually with more facts.
You'll also notice, other posters didn't start questioning motivations aloud and make passive aggressive comments on posting "patterns". I guess they know how to stay on topic and not fuel repeat "misunderstandings". Take notes.
|
* sigh *
"The sales aren't encouraging", isn't a fact. It's called downplaying, which is where the "pattern" comment spawned from. It has nothing to do with preferences, as you so desperately like to claim.
But you win though. I haven't got the patience to keep explaining. For the future, note-taking should be YOUR #1 priority, as it isn't here today. Good day.
OT: @ nen-suer: have you played the GT Academy Trial yet?
