I don't see it happening. I can understand the hopeful wanting it to beat 12, but looking at 12 sales theres a reason it did well. It did get core sales and it had plenty gift room and just general consumers. On the PS3 it has it's core audiance again, but it doesn't have the same percentage for gifts and general consumer. The only way it could sell more is that the FF Core fan base is greater than that of PS2 gift and general consumer base. Which we know it isn't.

Heck as ancecdotal. I pre ordered FF12 and I have NEVER preordered any FF game before. I don't even have 10,10-2. This gen I passed on the PS3, though I will pick one up when they hit $100 at the end of it's life time. I'm only 1 person, but I am 1 person that represent a percetage of people(unknown percentage) that won't be getting the game until the PS4 is out.

So I stand by it. The shrinking elite gaming community firmly standing it's ground that fewer core consumers is greater than more consumers. It's a bizzar though that's rarely ever pans out, but hey.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
