Yes, and there is always extra demand for a limited edition bundle. People who own the system will buy it again for limited editions in addition to new buyers. Some people will use it as the extra motivation to get the console early shifting a few sales up earlier that would have still happened, but not on that specific date.
How have I come up with one "excuse" for PS3 sales? I showed where the extra bundles knocked the console above where I felt the high mark would be. This is in adition to the extra 500k copies of the game available over what was initially reported.
