hwen was the racing genre popular.never that's the thing.
There was only a bit of growth for racing games when NFS underground came up started the free roam thing but that was mosdtly for casual gamers or those that buy everything thats popular out there.
you can't compare GT to those casual games.GT is more for the hardcore gamers and is a sim.A casual gamer won't like a raing sim anyways
