I'm pretty sure you can find Muramasa for $39.99 by now. And if that's the case, its the best game at that price currently.
Otherwise, I'd suggest either Little King's Story, one of the LEGO games (Star Wars or Batman) or perhaps Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (if he has a Zapper).
