i kinda agree but you haven't mentioned any of the ones that you should have. Not excite truck, but excite bots needed to be pushed. Punch Out was advertised and will pass a million soon and probably get close to a 1.5 million LTD, not far from Metroid Prime 3.
There are games Nintendo hasn't pushed at all, and I'm pretty sure that's because they don't want to be known for certain games. They have a lot of stealth releases in Japan, games like Captain Rainbow obviously they weren't very proud of it. They probably just wanted to get some money back without ruining their image. Nintendo seems to be really calculated in this way.
