In other words, it's the exact same thing as leveling, just a tad more involved. You beat enemies, eaarn CP instead of EXP, and choose the abilities/stats/spells you want to increase from a list, instead of having the game decide for you......it really is the exact same thing......this is assuming that you earn CP from battles.
