Financial performance should be discussed in the proper threads when quarterly earning come out.
Sales performance should be discussed in the weekly sales threads.
People discussing financial performance in sales threads are generally trying to distract the discussion from poor weekly sales of their preferred console.
Also, the financial chart you listed is not entirely accurate when comparing gaming revenue for current consoles. You cannot break out non-xbox revenue from MS EDD division (PC games, Mac software, Zune, etc), and Sony/Nintendo numbers are combined for all of their consoles. You cannot break out DS/Wii or PS2/PS3/PSP profits/losses.
