3rd party lineup is awesome for 2010, at least in terms of localizations.

Things do seem like they're drying up a bit in Japan, but we're probably good for at least few more big surprises (MH3G, DQ7 remake, Inazuma 11 Break, etc). Weirdly, Japan's really solidified behind WiiWare though, much moreso than XBLA or PSN.

It's bad for the Wii when all of their big games are speculation. I don't think any of those will make it in 2010, well perhaps MH3G, but still doubt it.

Current rumor puts MH3G around May/June, and it's based off the western build.  I think we'll get *something* DQ related next year, be it Swords 2, Torneko 4, Monsters BR, the DQ7 remake or whatever.  And if Inazuma 11 Break doesn't happen next year, I don't think it'll happen at all.  Shame it and Ushihiro got shelved at L5's last conference. :/

Honestly though, after Q1, there aren't really any legitimately big 3rd party 2010 games announced for any platform, not just Wii.  DS, PSP and PS360 are just as dry at this point.

They're working on Dragon Quest X currently.  I don't think we're going to get anything else.  As much as I'd like a Dragon Quest Swords sequel with Motion Controls.  The Dragon Quest team is different than the SquareSide, which is happy to have 10 teamsworking on 20 Final Fantasy ports/sequels.  Instead, Yuji Horii would rather focus on 1-2 games at once.  And really....Dragon Quest VII remake.  Its not going to happen.  Its way too soon after the original game.  And its the least favorite of the series.  And even if it did, its mostly likely not going to happen on a console.

The only rumor for Dragon Quest that has been solid is Sugiyama (yes, the composer) has hinted at a possible new Dragon Quest Monsters in development.

Er, Hori's team (Armor Project) rarely gets directly involved in spinoffs or remakes.  Hell, look just look at DS... within 4 years it got 3 DQ spinoffs, 3 DQ remakes and a full fledged DQ9.  Even PS2 got a remake and 3 spinoffs in addition to DQ8.  PS1 got 2 spinoffs and remake with DQ7.  SFC got DQ5-6, 2 remakes and a spinoff.  You really think Wii will finish off with just one full DQ and one spinoff?

Arte Piazza, Genius Sonority or some other company will head up the inevitable WII DQ7 remake, just watch...
