I did play through the PC version you know. The game plays like a console game to me and felt clunky and somehow slow most of the time. There were still a few bugs, one that was completely crippling to the gameplay (a weapons bug that froze up all your weapons when one overheated, only remedy was a load, very funny near the end of a boss fight or a long shootout). I do have high hopes for the sequel and I know for a fact that it'll be something right up my alley but I still find myself missing the Baldur's Gate days of Bioware, Dragon Age didn't seem to quench my thirst, it seems. |
Guess I was lucky I never encountered that particular bug. Still had some annoying ones though that sent me "ctrl+alt+del"ing frantically in annoyance. Honestly, I actually quite liked the interface on PC and thought it worked quite nicely. I could see how it originated on the console but it still worked well enough for me to not care. Another thing I failed to mention was the free downloadable content, but you already know that as you've played it
.
Baldurs Gate was quality, although I think nostalgia has a part to play in the lack of thirst quenching!
