To clarify, it doesn't say a game called WiiRelax by Nintendo is coming out, it says Nintendo trademarked the title "WiiRelax" in PAL territories. It could mean that Nintendo simply doesn't want any third parties developing titles consisting of "Wii_____".

"Wii" is a trademark, so it's already protected. That's why you have third party games like "We Ski", when "Wii Ski" would have better brand power.

Edit: They do seem to allow third parties permission to use the Wii trademark, but they haven't let anyone put it in the "Wii ___" form.

Actually I think the trademark they have is for "Wii____" games, with no space in between the words. However, they could make the case that a space in between the words does not circumvent the patent, and therefore, the company would have to change the name of the game.
