There's only two ways I see this happening. If Nintendo puts out compelling enough software for it, and the price drops to $100, a lot of people might buy a second system (for bedroom/basement tvs). And/Or at a low enough price it might see huge sales explosion in the developing world (Asia, South America).

It would likely need to be out for 10 years but that certainly wouldn't be a first for Nintendo. NES and GB both had 10 year lifespans.
