Sometimes, according to what Max is suggesting, they go hand in hand. Since he said MKWii's core gameplay was better, etc.

again, play it yourself (or read what others who have tried the BETA said). this will be an exception.

Yeah since I AM in the beta and HAVE played it, though I haven't played it as much as I want because it keeps kicking me offline and it seems I'm not the only one with the same issues.

BTW most people suck online, I haven't had an issue stomping everyone.  The physics and weapons play more like Diddy Kong Racing, in fact it even has very similar items and item system where you collect the item, you save it to upgrade it, collect it again to upgrade it once more.
