Wii: profit of $4 billion+ and increasing (I am too lazy to look it up, just throwing out a number that it definitely achieved)
360: loss of about $1.5 billion and decreasing (meaning they are profiting now)
PS3: loss of about $5 billion and increasing (meaning they are still losing money)

All numbers include hardware, software and accessory sales. The numbers aren't accurate, but they give you a general idea where everyone stands. They aren't close to each other.

The DS is more resposible for the high profit of Nintendo but the Wii is not too far behind.

Which means that my estimate is clearly not too high. Since the Wii launched Nintendo as a whole made more than $11 billion in profits. For me to be wrong your own statement has to be wrong.

You have a weird way to agree with someone, that's for sure.

NDS took off at the same time as the Wii and still kicking, your argument phails yet again.

If I am wrong, then so are you. You are aware of that, right?

wth are u trying to say,jst because ur wrong so will the other person???

Doing the maths $11 billion

It's $13 billion since '07, which makes your original guesstimate of $4 billion too conservative.

No I don't think so.... first of all the FY2007 ended in March 2007, which means only 4 months of Wii sales are included in it.
Second of all the profit should be balanced with whatever losses the consoles made from developing them, as well as profits from previous consoles (which are the things hiding the losses of development)

If Nintendo hadn't developed the Wii they would have made more profit than they did in the 2007 and 2006 fiscal years (though less in the years after Wiis release)
