well you said "Naruto 3 has bombed catastrophically, it was supposed to be one of the best ones yet, it was the 10th or 20th anniversary edition. You know nothing about Japan, so better research before posting." so thats why i thought you meant NS3 .
Also, every Naruto Shippuden game has sold way less than the american version on the wii. For instance, Naruto Shippuden 2 on US sold over 300k, and only 70k in Japan. Same applies for Naruto Shippuden 1. NA buys more of Naruto than Japan. And it appears still to be decent money, because we keep getting those sequels year after year. And it looks, so far, we will.
