I don't have 1st day sales handy, but I doubt it's ahead of DQIX or Pokemon D/P.  Might even be behind Pokemon HG/SS too.

You didn't say console.  Besides, even then it's going to get beat by DQX.

i recall the highest selling console rpg was dragon quest swords, around 800k. thats why i was thinking when i post it.

and Monster hunter freedom 2, already had higher.

MHF2 was only 750k 1st week btw, FFXIII beat it already.

Highest console RPG this gen before FFXIII was MH3, then Yakuza 3, then DQ Swords.  They're all action RPGs though.
