casue of inferior hardware, cartriges would have held back FF.

Honestly FF with out kickass graphics is not real FF. 

PS3 will make some of the most pretty FF ever.

 

@ N64 Cartride:

the Smallest one has 4MB Space (the most used one), the Largest 64MB.(Used for 3 Games, one of them is RE2). (And the largest Version is times more expensive as a common CD).

and now imagine how many Cartirides they need for a Game that takes 1.3GB of space. (FFVII)
