There is also another possible explanation, that those 1.3million were the initial minimum shipments, to be supplemented according to effective demand and estimates from users and retailers polls, so, at the moment of deciding the first two weeks further shipments, they arrived to that sum. And let's not forget that Xmas this year falls on Friday, so there's still a large part of Xmas week for late purchases, this will help every HW and SW sales, with the biggest hitters limited only by availability.
