I'd imagine he has demographic stats for the DS, and is probably right in why the DS version sold weak - it isn't the right userbase for a GTA game. Especially when you compare its demograph to the PS3 or 360, who are clearly more in tune with the male twenty something types who buy GTA in it's droves.

He didn't say the DS was too casual or anything, just it's demographic didn't fit GTA. I don't see what conclusion you can make else then that, I certainly didn't see a lack of marketing and the game got strong critical reception. Has the DS sold any GTA type Mature games in large quantities? No...

The PSP is a bit more confusing as it has sold GTA games strongly in the past, I honestly didn't see any promotion for the PSP port so I guess most people just didn't know. PSP doesn't sell software like it could when the first two GTA's came out anyway I guess.
