and to people saying only the graphics would be upgraded.
1: some people don't want to have to dig out an old console to play the games, assuming they still have the console and it's working and they still have the game. or they don't want to deal with emulators.
2: other aspects of presentation other than graphics have improved over the years, menu navigation, sound quality (music, voice acting and sound effects) etc can be improved.
3: added content is often added or content from other versions extra rooms from the sega saturn version of SotN for example or content that was cut during translation.
4: and more people can enjoy the classic games that we love. that could lead the developers to make a new game in the series if it sells well.
