Except that most of the key staff from Fallout 2 are now working at Obsidian, rather than Interplay.

But you're likely going to get your wish: Obsidian's making New Vegas.

That is also where some key talents of the late and venerable Black Isle studio went and the only reason I'm keeping a keen eye on new Vegas even though I wasn't a big fan of Fallout 3.

Nothing has ever beaten Planescape for story in a game period.
