Japan has never been the bigger consumer of Zelda games, and Monster Hunter appeals to one specific kind of consumer. There is another kind that enjoys puzzles - it's kind of the idea behind the design of Spirit Tracks.

Zelda need not adhere to a single gameplay type.

I didn't state to limit the gamplay to one type. Did you miss the "or" part of my comment. And it was the tedious puzzles I meant, not all the puzzles. Did you miss when I typed the word "tedious"?

There is no need to be terse, LTNK. If I require an elaboration on someething you said, I would appreciate it if you could deliver that without the condescension.

"Tedious" is far too subjective of a quality to properly discuss in this context.
