Not to rain on anyones parade, (because it is a nice acomplisment to see the PS3 sell 10mil in one year) but everyone who says that they are going to easily make the fiscal predictions need to remember that the total is for March 09 - March 10 not Jan 09 - March 10. that means that this will be at much less then 12 million at the end of December.
They can still make the 13million for the fiscal year, but it is not as guaranteed as some people seem to think.
Update:
After a quick look at the numbers (acording to VGChartz) for the PS3
March 28, 2009 - 20,970,128
December 05, 2009 - 28,354,791
Fiscal to date - 7,384,663
So they still have ~5.6 million to go through the rest of December and the next 3 months to reach their 13 million goal.
Like I said, it is possible but not guaranteed.
