I agree on the market share issue.
In terms of gameplay I probably figure Sony could be best, then Nintendo then MS (I'm being picky and sticking with their assertion you will use no controller at all with Natal).
But, Nintendo already has a console in the home of a fair chunk of that casual audience IMHO, and it may end up a case of Sony and MS fighting for scraps from the table.
Time will tell. Right now it's just normal PR - he sure wasn't going to say anything else, that's for sure!
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
