I believe so. It would also make it one of the fastest selling games ever. Remember the fastest to the 10 million mark is that of GTA: San Andreas which did it in 9 weeks. Even Modern Warfare 2 on the 360 isn't on pace to break that record to show you just how impressive that actually was. New Super Mario Bros Wii is looking to hit over 8.5 million in 7 weeks and potentially 10 million in 10 weeks. Would be quite a feat.
But 1.25 million for New Super Mario Bros Wii this week is quite a huge number haha. Thanks for the heads up ioi. Seems my NSMB Wii Prediction Thread which had last week at 1000k-1300k range will have sales at the higher range there which is quite impressive. This game's selling power is just amazing. Truly, we all under estimated this game a few months ago. But Nintendo delivered a high quality game with a large marketing campaign and a solid fun experience that can be enjoyed by everyone. Kudos to them.
