I live only to play the next great 2D platformer. I gorge myself on everyone that gets released. I snap them up as soon as possible so I can get the maximum amount of time to potentially play the game at all. At least 2-3 times a year I break out Super Mario World just to speed run it, and then get all 96 exits simply for the thrill of the game. I say this so that my next statement has as much weight as possible.
New Super Mario Bros Wii is arguably the best Mario platformer ever created, and easily belongs in the top 5 best platformers to have ever been made. I have beaten the game 3 times already, and I am tempted to have another go at it soon.
