I heard the first half of the podcast and yes, the OP is an accurate summary. They were constantly attacking the Wii one way or another. There's just so much wrong with what they said that it's hard to know where to begin.
The achievements thing was blown way out of proportion. And they made it look like if there's an industry crash in the next few years, it's Nintendo's fault for tapping into the casual market.
They kept saying that most Wii owners don't buy any games and have their consoles gathering dust, but failed to back this up with any software sales figures.
They're literally a bunch of whiny guys who like "mature" game experiences but have no maturity at all when it comes to making a reasonable point and backing it up.
