I cannot disagree with this fanboyish statement more... Wii definitely does have the best platforming, and ti has RE:4 which is a huge plus, and motion control which is great and all, but the rest is pure opinion and bs quite frankly. 

 

And this is why we're here: to express our opinions... with a good argumentation, if possible...  :)

 

Best platforming games? SMG and NSMBWii only would already be enough... checked...

Best party games? This has created enough "hardcore meltdowns" so far... checked...

Best sports games? This may be a matter of opinion, i must agree... but at least best golf, bowling and tennis games, that's for sure...

World's best-selling racing game? This is a fact, and it's called 19 millions times Mario Kart Wii... checked...

World's best-selling fighting game? This is a fact, and it's called 9 million times SSBB... checked...

The best IR-controlled games? Where's the competition anyway? Checked...

The best gesture-controlled games? Once again, where's the competition? Checked...

The best tilt-controlled games? Once again... checked...

The best zombie games? RE4Wii only could already be enough, and there are many others... checked...

The best backwards compatibility? GC, plus NES, SNES, N64, MD, Neo-Geo, etc, all in one... where do you find a better option? Checked...

The best exercice games? Hard to find any competition, don't you think? Checked...

The best brain training games? Well, enough "hardcore meltdowns" once again, but DS may be 1st in that field... half-checked... :)

The best ports and remakes from every generation? Too many examples, and too many good examples... checked...

Is it insane? Personally checked, lol...  :)

Only reason to hate Wii? There may be many others, i have to agree... many gamers hate all new interesting ideas, except all those involving a way to bash Nintendo or Wii: that has been checked for at least 4 to 12 years now...

Something else? Yes, even some the best 3rd person action/adventure are featured (Okami and Zelda)... only thing missing so far: some of the best 1st person shooters (the crown is here to be taken) and some of the best RPG's (they are slowly comin', but it's lackin' so far)... a few good strategy games, more great point-and-click adventures, and i think everybody may find a good reason to at least respect Wii... or have one...
