I am getting confused at what were you trying to debate with steverhcp02.
You predicted 2.5 million at best ( any more than that will make prediction wrong already) and the people that predicted it 3 million at the least so let's say uncharted sells 2.6 or 2.7 both of you are wrong already. No one wins period. If ever uncharted 2 sell 3 million they were right and you were wrong so no matter how you keep saying about "mutually beneficialy symbiotic range calculation formula is vital in this situation". You can argue all you want but the fact still remains that they were right on there prediction because they predicted it to sell AT LEAST 3 million unlike you that only predicted 2.5 million at max.
Since you also brought up fairness and equality. It really feels that in order for them to be right with there prediction it has to sell 3.5 in order for you to accept that they are right isn't that unfair to them?
And also how can it be unfair when you never set a condition to begin with that they should only use 500k range? How can it be unfair when you are free to choose whatever range you like? Just like you chose the 500k range on your own free will. It just means that you are confident that it will only sell like that because you are free to use 1 million range too but you didn't so it's your fault not theirs.
