2005: Metal Gear Solid 3 (EU release)
2006: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
2007: Call of Duty 4 (Mass Effect a close second)
2008: Fallout 3 (MGS4 a close second)
2009: Either Dragon Age: Origins or Uncharted 2, I haven't decided yet
Game of the decade: Deus Ex (if it counts), otherwise Half-Life 2
I've cheated a bit as I'm in Europe but I've put FFX in for 2001 (didn't release until 2002 in EU), but I couldn't think of anything else to put down for 2001, whilst I had loads for 2002.
