He is one of the hip hop artists I truely respect, not because he talks shit about other people in his songs. But because he actually puts forth tremendous effort and emotion in his lyrics.
I cannot say the same about other hip hop artists, since I am not knowledgeble enough with the hip hop genre.
Right now he is my favorite male musician.
