PS brand is as good as its been, same games that sold big on PS PS2 are selling big on PS3 except the biggest ones on PS3 have yet to release.
PS had only one game cross 10m, GT. PS2 had only 5 games cross 10m GTAs and GTs. Those high quality games usualy did 2/3 million on PS2 some did 4million tops. Same thing is happening on PS3.
