"When it came time for Activision to make an obscene amount of money on Modern Warfare 2, it didn't want to leave the Wii out of the money parade. But we all know the Wii can't handle MW2, so instead Activision hired Call of Duty's pinch-hitter, Treyarch, to try its darnedest to cram 2007’s first Modern Warfare on the Wii. What did we end up with? A terribly controlled, ill-fitting mess that looked like it was covered in green vomit, with online support that is both laughable and sadly one of the better multiplayer options on the system. But thanks to confused parents, this will undoubtedly outsell Conduit via name recognition alone."
Okay, this loses the credibility of the article even more than somehow cramming in We Cheer and All-Star Cheerleaders to compare with Madworld.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
