Yeah, so like I said you're making an assumption with the 2012 date, since DQ main games don't come out for portables prior to 9.
As for games announcements, there is still plenty of chances for games to be announced for 2010, heck NSMB Wii wasn't announced until E3, so yeah, saying that there will be no announcements because they haven't made them yet is not a logical argument. Companies make announcements all the time, without needing to wait for TGS.
