I agree with Matt but more so in the hardware part, the software is fine since it's Nintendo games. But there is no excuse with the shortcut Nintendo took with the Wii, this company is loaded with money and has always been toe to toe with other console, it's a shame they gave us such an underpowered hardware this Gen.
I don't see the problem with the games though, they took a lot chances with Wiifit and other games no one expected to have such epic success, but they really could have spent some money on the hardware side.

You're telling me selling the system at $600-$800 or selling it at a loss, just to keep up this time, is not an excuse?

And get your facts straight. Nintendo is not a corporation. Their loads of capitcal is not on the level of the other first parties. They could afford to lose $3 billion each. Nintendo did not, even if they didn't anticipate the loss to be that high.

Don't tell me there isn't an excuse.

excuses, you never seem to have enough of it. First, this was my opinion, Unlike you I can actually criticized Sony  for all the wrongs they have done this Gen. But, to somehow question Nintendo, that's a sin. Get over yourself, Nintendo went cheap, the right decision, but they did anyway. The thing can't even play a dvd for crying loud.

What part of losing $3 billion don't you understand? If they costs hadn't been so high for goind HD, THEY WOULD HAVE DONE SO.

I'm discussing facts, not opinion. You acting as though your opinion trumps facts is you not getting over yourself. Don't project that on me.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
