I know who Barrett is and I know he's a duplicate of that character like Lightning is a duplicate of Cloud.
That doesn't really change the fact Barrett was a giant stereotype too.

It has been a while since I read about Lightning (or the chick, don't remember if that's her name) but when they described it really was Cloud but a chick. The fact that she looks exactly like Cloud if Cloud were even more of a woman doesn't help.

Well she is nothing like cloud from the FF13 novels S-E have published in Japan
and she doesn't really look like cloud either in the new trailers
