I don't see the problem with the games though, they took a lot chances with Wiifit and other games no one expected to have such epic success, but they really could have spent some money on the hardware side.

You're telling me selling the system at $600-$800 or selling it at a loss, just to keep up this time, is not an excuse?

And get your facts straight. Nintendo is not a corporation. Their loads of capitcal is not on the level of the other first parties. They could afford to lose $3 billion each. Nintendo did not, even if they didn't anticipate the loss to be that high.

Don't tell me there isn't an excuse.
