Agreed. If this truly was THE PS3 event game of the year, why not market it like that? Why not something more creative? Seems like they were more interested in marketing the PS3 as a brand than highlighting unique marketing for individual software titles. Mistake to me.
As for most of the comments on this thread, really? REALLY???!!! You guys keep attacking Pachter when in fact you should be AGREEING with him and being disappointed in your fellow PS3 owners that didn't buy the game. Pachter's saying the game SHOULD'VE sold better and he's troubled that it didn't, because what is that saying about PS3 owners? Point your venom where it should be pointed.
I wish I had a PS3 because this would be THE game I would purchase for it this holiday season. Too bad I'm a 360 owner ...
