I'm not exactly the biggest Mario fan - they're always great games, though not quite top tier for me.
Still, I found the single player on all of these choices (except SMB1, bleh) to be nearly even. Awesome games.
...Then they added multiplayer onto NSMB Wii. Best decision ever - local multiplayer mayhem is perfect for Mario, a game designed around simple fun. I've already put more hours into this game than any previous Mario!
