If only the writer of the original article had better grammar I'd take it a little more seriously. "their" instead of "there". "Sold" instead of "sales" or "sell" (can't rememebr what the proper wording should have been and not going to re-read just to find out).

And wow, I can't believe "PS3 is [not] doomed" panicky sounding articles coming out just because PS3 sold less than 360 in the USA according to NPD. When around the world PS3 is well ahead of the 360. And, so far, no adjustments on VGC, so if you give more credence to VGC numbers than NPD (or even equal) the article itself is based on incorrect (or dubious at best) data.

I'll accept 360>PS3 in USA in November 2009 as not in dispute when VGC numbers say so. Until then I'll accept the possibility that NPD numbers are right and VGC numbers wrong, but only the possibility. It's also possible the VGC numbers are right giving PS3 a slight edge for November in Americas. Yes, VGC Americas =/= NPD, but I don't think one system outsells in the USA but the other system outsells over the entire American continent(s) very often.
