Forget about it. The climate has changed along with the market. Just look at the Television ads from last gen and this current gen and compare them to the previous generations. Sega stating that they do what Nintendon't,
Crash Bandicoot outside Nintendo of America headquarters saying "plumber boy I'm coming for you", or the classic Super Smash Bros N64 commercial that feature Mascots like Mario, Donkey kong, and Yoshi walking along together and the they bump into one another and a fight breaks out. Those days are gone but at least we can reflect back and enjoy them from time to time.
