The longest I can remember is Yiazmat, and that was at best 5/6 hours without a proper setup or strategy to defeat him, or as fast as 1/2 hours with the right setup and skills.

yiatmat on low levels can take over 10 hours.

i was VERY low, and only had the zodiac spear :p

Hmmm... I'm actually interested in giving FFXII another try, just to see this.
