Congrats! And Uncharted 2 is a game that should not be waited for...
Anyway the downloads should be in the section 1 to the right of GAME, and I am fairly sure it will save your DL progress. It will download in the background if you are playing a game, but only if the game is offline, and some games will still stop it from downloading for various reasons
