because the PlayStation 3 has quality. And in the future more RPGs, i think.

Um no. The original Xbox was of higher quality technology wise than the PS2, but the Japanese scoffed at it. The Japanese can and will refuse outsider technology unless they haven't made it themselves. It has to be either novel or better than what they have to even get at least a positive blink in its direction. Nationalism is huge in that country.

the whole world scofed at xbox the technology doesn 't necessery makes you winner but games variety and quality(in japan nationalism also)

The whole world did not scoff at the Xbox. It was only Japan. This is why Microsoft has an obsession with breaking their market.

Well, sales in europe were pretty bad for XBox too, although not as bad as in Japan. Last official figures said that XBox sold 16 million in NA and 6 million in europe and 2 million in Asia. So sales outside USA where not good anywhere.

The Xbox didn't last 9-10 years like the PS2 did. Europ at least purchased over six milion conoles, which shows openmindedness and that their market has potential. Japan did not give Microsoft anywhere near a million last gen. Do you think Sony is doing well with Japan after 3 years? Kinda slow right? Thats what happens when you have to win the respect of a market all over again. At least they are willing to give that chance to Sony though. Sadly Microsoft isn't Japanese and they will never get that chance unless they cut off Sony in some shape or form.
